About our school

Sans Souci Public School strives to provide academic, cultural and sporting excellence.

In its caring and supportive environment, children develop the skills and knowledge to achieve their full potential and the confidence and flexibility to grow and prosper in an ever-changing world. Established in 1885, our school has a strong educational tradition which is a foundation for strong community involvement. While teaching and learning in literacy and numeracy are emphasized, students are offered a variety of extra curricula programs in creative and performing arts, technology and sport.

Welcome wall

The welcome wall is a symbol of our Acknowledgement of Reconciliation. Year 5 and 6 students were given the opportunity to design a mural and a group of indigenous students were selected to judge the best design.

Kosta's design was judged the best design and three other designs were highly commended Ayu, Cooper and Nicholas. Mrs Dillon and groups of students from K-6 were involved in painting and bringing the wall to life. We would like to thank Sheryl Young for her input into the decision on the design.
