Information for casual teachers
To be employed at Sans Souci Public School as a casual teacher you need to:
- provide a resume with your contact details, days you are available and experience
- provide a copy of your approval to teach letter from Department of Education and Communities (DEC)
- provide copies of Awareness of Child Protection Course, e-Emergency Care and ASCIA (Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy), Anaphylaxis e-training certificates as required by DEC
- you should also familiarise yourself with our school policies.
DEC requires that all staff including day-to-day casuals have completed the following courses and provide proof to the school they are working in:
- e-Emergency Care (accessible via the DET staff portal)
- ASCIA anaphylaxis e-training
- Awareness of Child Protection (accessible via the DET staff portal)
