Learning from Home

PLEASE SEE BELOW THE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE FOR WELLBEING AND LEARNING FROM HOME RESOURCES.

Dear Parents and Carers

We are almost at the end of term and I’m sure all members of the community are looking forward to the break coming up next Friday. I am very grateful of the community’s commitment to Learning from Home this term and appreciate the many adjustments families have had to make to ensure some continuity of learning for our children as well as juggling the many work and family commitments throughout the lockdown period.

Heading into Week 10 stage teams have adjusted the final week’s Learning from Home program to give students and families a chance to optimise family wellbeing after a term of huge effort.

Access to Devices at Home

With Learning from Home continuing into Term 4 families with children who do not currently have access to a device such as a computer or iPad at home should contact the school office next week via email for support on sanssouci-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au

Practical Parenting in A Pandemic- Maggie Dent Webinar Recording Now Available

Last week SSPS families had the opportunity to engage with Maggie Dent in her webinar Practical Parenting in a Pandemic. Over 400 schools and their families participated in the event and thousands of families have benefited from Maggie’s very wise and common-sense approach.

Participation in this event included free resources, a comprehensive handout and a recording of the webinar. These will be available for a month after the event for families to access at their convenience. You can access the resources via the following links:
